I've always had a PC, but I've now got both. My MacBook is for work and I run two partitions, one Mac and One Windows 7. Don't like Mac, but I guess I just need to give it time.

    Flash cunt

MAC by far the better bit of kit but they just cant compete with a Windows based PC for your average user.

H whats the reasoning for duel booting a MAC OS and Windows? I can understand it if your into something creative but need to access MS platforms for work shite but I dont reckon thats you?

The kind of person who gets their apple laptop out in the departure hall, and then has a look round to see who's looking at them. Either they're twats or I'm jealous.

Actually the profession I'm in uses Macs. Why? Because Windows (any version) can't even handle the usage of graphic tablets without freezing, crashing, BSOD. No elite art schools in the U.S. uses a PC and they teach students to use a Mac because of stability. The number 1 and only reason.

The game, film, and animation industry don't use PCs with Windows installled? Why? BEcause it's an unreliable fucker. It's not because people in the industry wants to be cool or chic or standout. It's because when you're working on a multi-million dollar project having freezes, BSOD, crashes, and incompatibility with equipment are unacceptable. There's a reason why the creative industry uses a Mac, and it's to get stuff done in a timely manner.

Now if you're a regular Joe that needs a computer to browse the internet, access email, and watch Youtube, then use a PC because it's much cheaper. A Mac is more for the creative people or people who work in the industries I've mentioned.

For graphic editing, sure, maybe. But I am not sure if, the White House, NASA, major top 500 Forbes corporations, etc. mostly use Macs in their offices or not.

I remember reading a few years ago that the White House, Nasa and those agencies don't use a PC or Mac but something else. Because a PC with windows installed is going to inevitably get crashes, BSOD, a virus, or get hacked. And a Mac can get hack and a trojan but it's rare. I heard it's a variant of Linux that they use. Makes sense because it is arguably the most secure way of using a computer.

Spot on mate. I'm not creative, but the products I now sell are from the creative world. Need Mac to demo them properly.
