Miles, you do LOVE to bellyache about "war crimes"...what DON'T you consider a war crime
Quite a general question, Lyle. I refuse to offer the argument of 'we are the superpower therefore we do what we want' as a suitable defense though.

Why is it so hard for you to ever accept criticism of your nation's absolutely horrific foreign policy strategies? Military and economic pillage since WW2 and unless you bend down and take it up the bum, they will get you, but preferably if you are poor and can't really fight back.

People don't dislike America because they are jealous of any freedoms, they dislike America because it is a noisy and violent bully with no respect for anyone else.

You say no to America and they will bomb you into the 3rd world. They invade sovereign nations and have the gaul to state that Gaddafi's death is a warning to all dictators. So what about the dictators that the US government actively supports? What happened to the protests in Bahrain for instance?

The US elite offers nothing but empty false gestures and actively supports repression as we have seen with the continued support of Israel and the support of dictators worldwide.

And America is a democracy? Sure, it is. You can vote once every five years for two parties and both represent largely the same evil. In many respects Obama himself is a dictator. We just use more subtle methods in the west and actively torture those at places like Guantanamo or 'secret' locations scattered around the world.

    No contradictions whatsoever.
Been denied a visa entry huh?

No, not really. I wouldn't mind visiting America actually and believe that about half the country shares my kind of views. Obviously a lot of hicksville places I should avoid. The gay bars would welcome me with open arms.

It's slightly off-topic, but I absolutely love visiting the States.
