    lol

Dont get me wrong, Calzaghe was a top fighter and accomplished a lot but not going to America earlier and fighting Jones and Hopkins sooner he let himself down. Especially after what he said in his book about Jones being old and washed up. He pulled out of fights with regularity and we were sold polished turds as worthy title challengers. Fair enough he took the Bhop and RJJ fights for his retirement fund and i wouldn't begrudge any fighter lining their pockets but you have to take the criticism that will go with that in regards to making excuses for the fights not happening years earlier.

I think JC accomplished a lot but his career could have been so much more. A couple of contentious decisions with no rematches to think about too. It doesn't matter really because in 50 years time all people will see is the undefeated record and wins against Bhop and RJJ and consider him one of the greatest of all time. The Kessler win for me was a great performance though and Lacy too.
