It's the America disease really. He beat Jones with his hands by his waist and made Hopkins look like a complete div after a slow start.

American's hate it because he was a class above any of these so called athletes that they can produce. They can move about throw a few punches, but none of them have the kind of technique and skill that Calzaghe had. No big name trainer, no Philly shell, nothing. Just completely unique and they can't make head nor tail of it.

You can't understand it, so just pick holes and hate it. Calzaghe was great, never lost and really had no serious flaws. He could adapt and do what he wanted.

Jones is held up as this superior athlete, but not really. Stick him in there with a man that throws like Calzaghe, Jones could never have kept up or properly evaded him over 12. I give Jones a punchers chance as he isn't outworking Calzaghe.
Since when did Calzaghe start throwing legal punches and not slaps Sure he was unbeaten because he ducked all dangerous opposition till forced to meet Bernard Hopkins. He received a split dec win he in NO WAY IN HELL deserved. Thats why he ducked a rematch & retired ROFL

He threw legal punches. Sure, they weren't thrown in the way that 'brother Naz' would instruct but they were thrown and he was never warned about it. They were legal, otherwise show me the rule to show his punches weren't. You can't. The man threw punches and lots of them. So despite your prejudice, you should get the fuck over it.

Now he ducked all dangerous opponents until Hopkins? You really are stupid. His record is no worse than that of Hopkins nor Jones, but I'm sure you preferred how they threw a punch. Jones fought a serious lot of crap and Hopkins liked to parade over former WW's.

And hahaha, he beat Hopkins over the last 8 rounds, it wasn't even close.
