The Marquez we saw against Mayweather might be influencing some fans predictions about how he'll do against Pacquiao. Mayweather was much bigger then JMM and twice as skilled, and while Manny at this point in his career has a much better skill set, he and JMM are about the same size.

Although Pac and JMM are about the same size physically, which might lead you to believe that we might see something akin to Pacquiao vs. Marquez II, it ain't likely to happen. Pac will have a big advantage in speed, power and improved boxing ability, that I can't see Marquez being able to overcome.

I don't believe the 3rd fight between these two warriors will be anything like the first 2, since Pac vs JMM II, in 2008, Pacquiao has blitzed through, Diaz, De La Hoya, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, and Mosley, hardly losing a round. So why is JMM going to be any different then the other 7? I hate to say a great fighter like JMM has no chance against Pacquiao, but he really doesn't.
Because Marquez has fought Pacquiao close twice before. None of those fighters had experience fighting Manny. I liked that Marquez weighed in at 142 and he appeared more ripped than he usually does. There isn't going to be a huge size disadvantage here. That is hogwash. They weighed in at 142 and 143 respectively. There always was a speed disparity favoring Pacquiao and that is nothing new. Timing beats speed and Marquez has Pacquiao timed. My opinion is the minority. Most are picking a Pacquiao landslide and Pacquiao finishes him early. Pacquiao started off fast in both their other fights so that may happen again here. If Marquez can survive the early rounds, I like Manny in another great fight, in which he wins a little bit more clearly. Say 116-112. I may change my opinion as the day goes on though.
