I honestly thought Marquez would lose this fight convincingly. I like both fighters a lot but this was an amazing display by JMM. He won enough rounds clearly in my opinion that only someone with bias or incompetence could give the decision to Manny. Going into the 11th it was already decided unless Manny could score knockdowns and that didn't happen. Not only did Marquez get robbed of a clear victory over his biggest rival, he was robbed of a legit claim of being a champion in yet another division. He undoubtedly belongs in the hall of fame without this fight, but it is a shame that people looking back on his career that didn't experience while it was happening will not get the proper story seeing a MD loss in his biggest fight, while being a clear underdog in the fight.

Do you know how many doors will open to Marquez because of this fight? No one thought he would effective at 147. It turns out he is maybe better at 147 than possibly Manny himself.

I haven't been around much lately and I know this is easy to say, but I thought JMM would win the fight. I haven't seen it, so whether he did or not I can't judge.
