Problem is he let the Kessler fight slip away. If he had been more active at certain points in the middle and end of the fight, he would have won.

If the fight had have been anywhere other than denmark froch would have won

I don't disagree. I have seen Froch box beautifully off his back foot (Johnson fight), with his jab (Abraham fight) and slugging it out (Pascal). He boxed badly in the Kessler fight no doubt about it.

im not saying it was frochs best fight and best performance

but watch it again for the first 6 rounds kessler (who is still a world class very experienced fighter) doesnt land a punch of any meaning

so for 6 rounds froch avoids getting hit, kes looks like he is coming forward and doing more work but he doesnt land

that couldnt really be described as a sloppy performance

then kes has a good 2 or 3 rounds and then the last 4 froch takes over again

maybe kes wins the 12th

He didnt win tho, noone in the history of boxing has been that negative and won a fight

In the froch kessler fight kessler hardly lands any sort of meaningful punch till the sixth

I dont see any case for kes winning that fight
