Some people believe everything they read on paper.

Whatever that informer said dont mean nothing..

U can go to Fight hype and youll usually hear stuff straight from the horse's mouth.

With that said, Pacman is just a tune-up level opponent for Floyd.. Of course they are in a different class..

I'd think more that the truth should be read this way: "I should fight Canelo on Cinco de Mayo, it would be a huge payday and reward/risk wise, this is the most interesting option for me at the moment". Floyd is sure full of bullshit but I don't see him saying Alvarez's better than Floyd.

For whom? You think he faces Sergio at 154 or 160?

No way Floyd faces him at 160, not even 154, but I think he might fancy a catchweight bout at 150 just to make pacman look stupid.. A bout with Martinez would really shut the critics up and it would boost his legacy bigtime. Most people thought he would never fight Mosley either and look what happened.

Sergio is willing to face Pac at 150 so i dont see why he couldnt do it for Floyd..

Floyd is just waitng Pacquaio out, waiting for him to slow down and not be the force he once was. I think he is getting his wish, Pacman looked lacklustre and unfocused against Marquez, maybe Pacquaio is becoming battle weary and could be ripe for the picking in 2012? I have no doubt Marquez gave that extra 10% against Pacquaio, but i also believe the Pacman is slipping, he has many distracting outside interests and he has been involved in so many boxing wars over the years, many more than PBF. Pacquaio will lose in 2012, whether it is to Floyd or not remains to be seen.

It's funny you mention my balls, finding underwear that fits confortably is a big problem for me. I reckon i should give Ricky Hatton a call, he'll have me wearing them as ear rings by next Tuesday!

You couldn't be more wrong.. You need to know the history before making comments like that. Sounds like you are fairly knew to the sport so I understand so let me tell you..

Floyd did not " wait " for mosley to get old. Lol

Floyd called him out twice, years ago... First was in the late 90s and the second time was in 2006. Mosley declined both times with silly excuses..

After he beat fernando vargas, during the postfight interview, he claimed that he couldnt fight floys because of a toothache. And back in the 90s when floyd challenged him at lightweight, his excuse was that floyd wasnt big enough of a name..

So there.. It was mosley who ducked him when it really mattered. Not the other way around..

Only reason he fought floyd in 2010 was because he didnt have much options. He wanted a payday ..

And somebody mentioned how floyd got rocked by an old mosley Umm what do u expect? This is boxing and we all get hit sometimes. As if floyd is in that God statues, he can never get hit by a good shot. Smh

judge the fight as a whole instead of looking for ways to criticize a fighter cuz its kinda lame..

You can't be serious. In a couple of years Floyd Jr will get about as much respect as Floyd Sr.

Condescending much? Just because I'm relatively new to the message board doesn't necessarily mean I'm new to the sport.

But thanks for the history lesson all the same. I clearly lack your insider knowledge and can merely speculate on these sorts of things, whereas you can share 100% facts.

Floyd will fight the easiest fight for the most money with little regard to legacy. So from that he will not fight Martinez and or Alvarez more likely fight Morales which would be a real travesty and waste of talent and time by Floyd.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

While I believe you are a true boxing fan, I'm wondering when you'll stop whining about Marquez. Is your assesment that Pac is a tune up opponent for Floyd solely based on his performance against Marquez? Floyd barely beat Oscar...Manny made Oscar quit on his stool...does that mean Manny is better than Floyd? Floyd knocked out hatton in 10 rounds. Pac had Hatton contemplating suicide after he floored him inside of 2 rounds. Does that mean Pac is better than Floyd? Geese. The fight is over dude. Both of those fighters were way too cautious. That's what I saw. Get over it man...seriously. You contribute alot of good things here but this whining is getting old.
