I can't blame you there miles, but you might want to check out the forum's comments after the Pac-JMM III replay, it'll probably be more of the same shit, but WTF..

I wouldn't mind seeing Peter Jr. light up Julio Jr, but unfortunately Peter Jr. can't crack an egg.

Keep in mind miles, you need to watch all "big" fights, however boring they might be, or you'll lose your status as a "purist", true fan of boxing or a heavyweight armchair expert on this forum.
I don't see how Arum is at fault here? He matched Pacquiao TOUGH against Marquez. He is willing to match him up TOUGH against Marquez again. What is wrong with that?

Chavez Jr. doesn't really deserve to be on TV, but the problem is he sells...A LOT.
Do you know how many tickets and the viewship numbers are for Chavez Jr.? They're above most other boxers.

Yep, Julio Jr has a huge Latino fan-base, and Arum has had him headlining PPV's starting 3 or 4 years ago, way before he was even a trinket holder.

I don't really dislike Julio Jr, but i'm gonna love it when he finally steps up and fights a pug with a pair, like Sergio Martinez, and gets exposed and annihilated.

More and more I think about this, the more I think Chavez Jr. will beat the Pride of Providence and maybe even stop him. In recent memory, I've seen Manfredo lose to Bika and Calzaghe. They had in common that they were bigger than him and they won by swarming him. Well, isn't that exactly Chavez Jr. just less skilled than either? Chavez Jr. is a huge middleweight. He weighs in at like 180 pounds for fights and he is a come-forward stalker with a decent inside game. I respect Manfredo but style-wise this could be all wrong for him.

Julio Jr. is a growing boy, and he figures to take care of business against Manfredo, in my neck of the woods, in Houston, Texas, I live about 150 miles north of Houston in East Texas. They might as well have held the fight in Mexico, because half of Mexico will show up in Houston tomorrow night.

I think more people care about the replay than they do the live fight. Props to both for doing what they do but is there anyone that really cares if chavez can beat manfredo or the other way around . Chavez will probably be huge fast and beat the crap out of peter and by tuesday i probably won't even remember

Pac-JMM III has already been discussed/debated enough, I just want to see the replay mainly for my own benefit, and maybe add a brief comment or two on this thread. Aside from all the controversy, the fight seemed rather boring, neither pug was hurt or knocked down, and as near as I can tell, neither guy dominated the other. I imagine the replay will spawn another round of whining and bitching which I want no part of.

As for Julio Jr. vs Manfredo, it might be somewhat entertaining, at least it's not another lame ass PPV.
I'll probably see some people on HBO down in Houston tomorrow night that I recognize, so it'll be fun for me.

I see Manfredo pulling the upset. Chavez Jr. can't box.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

I can't believe this day has come.......... I'm actually rooting for Manfredo.

Where is P.O.B.? He would have a heart attack if he seen this coming out of me.

Manfredo needs a knock out to get the win, because no way will he get a decision in Chavez territory. The one good thing I will say about Manfredo, he won't chicken out of the mandatory fight with Martinez like Chavez will. Chavez will give up the belt before getting in the ring with Martinez to get his ass kicked.

True, Julio Jr. can't do much of anything right, but I fear Manfredo is even worse.

24/7 Cotto/Margarito comes on HBO @ 10:00 PM EST tonight, followed by the Chavez Jr. vs. Manfredo Jr card on HBO @ 10:30 PM EST. The Pac - JMM III replay should be shown first.

    November 19
    Pac - JMM III replay
At Houston (HBO): Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs. Peter Manfredo Jr., 12 rounds, for Chavez's WBC middleweight title.

The entire telecast should be worth watching, so ice up some Cerveza and lets check it out.
