Diaz is no risk, he's always been a shit fighter who had one nice come back from behind lucky ko, he was given a gift against a shot Morales, and then barely kept his title to an unknown right before fighting Manny
Marquez should be 3-0 against Pacquiao, and it's obvious that Manny has still tried to nitpick when to face him, the thing is it's backfired in both the 2nd and 3rd fights
Barrera, the first win was as clear cut and a clean win in Pacquiao's favor, no questions asked, second fight Barrera was already on the slide and showed up to get a paycheck
DLH, as it is known Roach has himself stated that he only took the fight because he knew that DLH was on the slide and wouldn't cut down to 147 effectively, once he saw the needle marking from Oscar re-hydrating himself he told Manny to go after him, so how much credit should Manny really get for beating a weight drained corpse?
Hatton, although he looked to have been slipping he had put up one of his better displays since losing to Mayweather (Malignaggi fight), the 2nd round KO is a legit as any and no excuses to really be made
Cotto, although it's another example of Pacquiao going after a guy after a so-so showing, seeing how Manny called him out right after Cotto's somewhat weak showing against Clottey, Cotto looked to be in great shape on fight night and has looked good in fights after the loss, Cotto basically had no corner against Manny but that's Miguel's agenda not Pacquiao's
Clottey, he basically picked to fight the guy who had just lost to the guy who had just lost to him, no real risk there sorry, especially after you saw the "fight" that Clottey put up
Margarito, looked like shit in his comeback fight against a journeyman, and then called for a catchweight, but went on to beat the shit out of him for 11 of the 12 rounds
Mosley, no risk involved here what so ever, apart from a lucky right hand that wobbled Mayweather, Mosley had just had his ass handed to him by Mayweather for every round, including the same round that Mayweather was stunned in, the fact that Pacquiao took him on a year afterwards only emphasizes how further shot Mosley was when he stepped in the ring
so he's taken "calculated risks" at the very best since moving up, like i said in another thread, smoke and mirrors for the most part
