Hopefully the fight does happen now after what Ariza has said and now Mayweather saying he's ready to sign must put pressure on Arum to let the fight happen. It seem logical to make the mayweather fight and not marquez. If pac loses to mayweather the marquez fight is still available but if he fights marquez and loses then the mayweather payday is gone.

It really seems like Arum wants no part of Mayweather. He's just trying to monopolize Pacquiao's opponents and keep all the money in house.

I said that before the Pacquiao-Marquez 3 fight, that if it's close it will bring us closer to the much awaited Pacquiao-Mayweather megafight.

I wish I have the confidence of you two but it went out the window after Pac's last fight. I will still be routing for him and prefers him in that position .... that of a huge underdog, for a victory will be much sweeter.

I don't believe he was waiting for a third loss, I've been believing for the past 2 years that mayweather was waiting for 5th of may/cinco de Mayo because he knows that would be the biggest day in any year to make a fight just like vs de la Hoya. Either way mayweather had called him out before the Marquez fight and I'm pretty sure he didn't think Marquez stood a chance. But even then who knows maybe paquiao held back Vs Marquez to make mayweather confident..... Just saying, I mean fighters do think lol
