Neutral, even nice guys can have an asshole side.. Floyd may be an ass but that doesn't define his character. If you dont know the guy personally, u can't judge him.. If Floyd didnt play his villain role so well, people wouldnt be paying as much to watch him lose.. I agree with your first statement. The problem with Floyd is that almost everything he shows is an asshole side. He should not be acting like an ass if he wants his character to be defined favorably. Dela Hoya didn't become a cash cow by being an asshole.

At least Floyd isn't a fake nice guy like Pacman who have kids out of wetlock with all kinds of gambling issues. You mean what Floyd is showing on the outside is also what is on his inside? So you do acknowledge that he's an asshole.

Delahoya didnt have to play a badguy because his style, ethnic background and movie star looks brought in the crowd regardles..

Floyd on the other hand, dudes style is boring to most people so he had to go for another angle to sell tickets... The Villain.. If Floyd had a boring personality like Cotto, he wouldn't be the cash cow he is today..

But i agree he acts like a Villain even when he isnt promoting a fight. Most the times he acts like that towards his opponents to promote the fight but what about the Ex thing that happened , Burning Money , Threatning the security guards and all that that in no may makes him any money . In fact it takes money having to pay lawyers and everything else for his court cases
