Why is it when people that have shown a strong chin their entire career get knocked out by a haymaker they never saw coming they suddenly have a glass jaw?

I couldn't agree more. Martinez is the only person to legitimately put Paul down, which he did twice by the way. Lara didn't put him down. Margarito didn't put him down. Winky didn't put him down. Paul just got nailed with a tough shot that night in Atlantic City.

A lot of fighters, after they get KO'ed, they are not the same. Paul have been hit a lot. And until Martinez KO'ed him out, he withstood everything, anyone throw at him. But now, getting caught will do much more damage because he go knocked out.

True, but he didn't look real steady on his feet much of the Lara fight. I believe the KO by Martinez, wrecked Paul's confidence and changed him, he looks like a shot fighter.
