'Today, I am here where my mind brought me. Tommorow, I'll be there where my mind will take me.' This is the simple law of life...
    Yep, use your steering wheel.

    Yep, use your steering wheel.

Here's another way of putting it:

'Today, I am here where my thoughts brought me. Tommorow, I'll be there where my thoughts will take me.'

Ya, Andre, and this is the biggest problem for mankind: it's the kid who's behind the steering wheel!

All right, folks, I'll be here for my early vacation so I'll be sharing my thoughts on this point and I've been studying human mind for decades now so listen up.

First, let me try to prove my point about the kid or a little child in us all:

We are at any moment of time either in an adult state, which is almost purely logical, or in a child state, which is almost purely emotional. I think everybody knows by now thru experience that when logic and emotion clash, it's the emotion that will always win while it's the logic that's always right! Right? If you want to see a little child in action in an adult, just observe when an adult cries. Aside from crying, you'll notice that he starts to mumble or talk like a child as well, right. It's because when you cry, you turn into little child, or put in another way, it's the 3-year old kid in you in action. Think about it.

A child tends to emotional because at this early stage, he doesn't have the ability to think well and so it's his emotion, which also acts as his 'carrot and stick', that controls him and steer him away from danger. It's almost certainly a survival tool. But the biggest problem - did I say 'of mankind'? - is that at crucial moments or when you -or the child in you, actually - is threatened, it's the child who'll take over and the problem for mankind is that a child is highly irrational! Now you understand why sometimes especially under stress, you tend to act irrationally, right?...

That's it for now, fellas. Back to my meditation...
BTW, don't lose your sense of humor.
Once in awhile, get outside in fresh air, take a deep breath & with a deep sigh, let out all the things that's bottled up inside you & be free, & you'll get a glimpse of nirvana.

attitude, whether negative or positive does influence how our life would turn out. if you have a positive attitude and things doesn't turn out the way you want it, at least for the best part things would be easier to carry emotionally. i like this quote from William James which goes,

"The greatest revolution of our generation is the discovery that human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives."
