This victory belongs to Pacquiao for fucking up that eye in November. This victory for Cotto is almost as meaningless as Trinidad's "victory" over De La Hoya.

Yes, Cotto was gifted a handicap by Pacquiao. Take away that fight and Margarito does the same thing again. He could have fought with more abandon and make Cotto meet his maker.

Unlike HBO, this fight makes me think that Margarito wasn't loaded the first time. The only difference was the eye making him a little more cautious and an eye that wouldn't hold up so long.

Cotto boxed well, but it was a little bit empty in the end.

Margarito said he was 100%. No excuses. Props to Cotto.

See the cheater isn't shit without his plaster. Cotto gave him a boxing lesson. I would have loved the fight to continue, so Cotto could fuck him up some more. Great win for Miguel.

Yeah - we all know Margarito is a tough hombre. He might think Cotto hits like a girl, but only one guy got spanked like a little girl in the ring tonight.

Same here, bro. Cotto's punches had no effect in slowing down Margo, despite making his right eye that was already damaged by Pacquiao swell up. He just kept on coming like Cotto's punches weren't anything and his punches were effecting Cotto. Say what you want, but you can't load up a chin.

Yes, fabulous win for Margarito tonight. Cotto didn't belong in the same ring with him.

I'm not sure how I feel about the stoppage, but I find myself agreeing with Kellerman here.

The only way Margarito was going to win before the fight was stopped, was by KO, and that wasn't likely to happen. Miguel seemed to have plenty left in the tank, and Margo looked to be worn down.

It's not hard to imagine that Margo used loaded wraps in the 1st fight, he looked like a different fighter tonight, and he acts like a low-life piece of shit.

BTW, that right eye looks like it got re-injured.

Yeah, the rational side of me understands that argument. I just think Cotto looked so vulnerable that Margarito - who I loathe - deserved the chance to keep going.
