Did I call you any names? No I did not. Must of hit a nerve. Which can only mean 2 things. You know it's true that your boy showed no heart and you don't have the balls to admit it. Or like Cotto you too cried like a bitch at the end of his hollow victory.

I used to think that somewhere beneath that cyber tough guy personna was a somewhat boxing knowledgeable individual. Now I see I was wrong. You hide behind your keyboard..... talk shit about women in general.... spout your racist, ignorant bullshit..... and even succeed in intimidating some of the young, impressionable posters here with your gangsta avatar, and your street 'hood talk.

When in all actuality, you're just a bigoted, ignorant, ranting and raving idiot, who probably gets no action and also probably has hidden sexual identity issues.

I stupidly thought you'd be a bigger man than you've showed, and come out and admit you were wrong about Cotto. But in your bigoted stupidity, you dump on Cotto for fighting a masterful fight, and refusing to go toe-to-toe with the bigger Margacheato scumbag, until the middle rounds, when he then decided to trade with the man.

If you can't appreciate the great fight for what it was, then you're most stupid than I thought.

You not the only one. I too was mistaken. Thought you were an actual boxing fan. Who had no problem telling it like it is. No matter if the fighter in question was a personal favorite you'll still call it for what it is. Mistake on my part. You're not a boxing fan. You nothing but a mindless Cotto groupie. You ignore the facts and suck his dick instead. How you can take pride in that cheap win is beyound me. Shows how much you really lust for him. Cotto showed no heart. The man talked and talked how Magarito put his life in danger. Did he pay him back? Returned the favor? No. He should of destroyed him. And he didn't. Now if you think he did than well you pretty much a lost cause already. So I guess it doesn't mean anything

Ok, let's try to start over. No name calling, just opinions and facts.

First of all.... why don't you just admit you're a Cotto-hater and are incapable of giving him even the slightest bit of credit, even when 99.9% of the boxing world is doing it. Nothing wrong in admitting that. Your credibility would grow a little with that. We all know you're a manic Cotto-hater.... all you have to do is admit. As such, you're incapable of giving objective opinions. Why?

Ok, stay with me here. Was all Cotto did was run? Did he not bust up Margarito's face with numerous punches throughout all the rounds? Go look at the punch stats. Those are not the punch stats of someone who just runs and runs. Hell..... I HATE fights where all a fighter does is run without any kind of an offense. But Cotto DID have an offense. A pretty good and effective one, at that.

The Cotto that beat Margarito Saturday night was the Cotto of old. Lateral movement, hand speed, ring generalship. Please tell me you know that is part of boxing....... please. If not, I don't know WHAT to say. Remember, we're keeping it civilized here, ok?

Now for a very important point. Cotto IS A SMALL 154-POUNDER. He's more suited for 147. Why he's at 154, I don't know, but he's done pretty good for himself. But his body frame, his size..... are more suited for 147. Margarito, on the other hand, IS A LARGE 154-POUNDER. He could easily fight at 160. He's got the wide frame, the height, etc.

So (and try to follow me here)....... why in the HELL would Cotto come out and immediately start trading in the center of the ring with someone who is bigger and yes.... stronger. Not only that, but (and I've given him tons of credit for this) also a chin of granite. Makes no sense, right?

See.... you're trying to make it seem that, because it's personal (and it most definitely is)..... Cotto had to be stupid and go out there and trade with Margarito from the beginning of the 1st round. So he gets rocked, maybe KO'ed...... and where's the satisfaction in that, huh? Instead, he boxed masterfully..... he pounded on that eye..... he clinched when he had to...... he pushed Margarito back (made him back up)..... he avoided the ropes. THEN.... when he had warmed up to the task and knew he could take Margarito's plaster-less punches, THEN he got into some exchanges with Margarito. Or didn't you see those?

Cotto fought the fight of a lifetime, and all you can do is come into the forum and call it "A Sad Day for Boxing". C'mon VD....... that's downright PATHETIC.

Come on down from that limb you're on, and admit you may have been wrong. I know you don't like me much, 'cause I'm pretty outspoken and can fly off the handle sometimes, but geeeeeez...... I KNOW I've come in here before and admitted to being wrong about something. Why can't you?

That's all I'm saying. I know you're smarter than that, deep down inside.

VD you know I've got nothing but love for you, but I'm a little disappointed in this thread.

Did you happen to start a thread with the same title when Margarito got caught using illegal hand wraps? Because that was truly a sad day in boxing.

Oh, and I think I'm the only Cotto fan here that actually wouldn't mind sucking his .........

VD there's a couple ways to get revenge if you're Miguel Cotto

#1 Stand toe to toe and trade with the naturally bigger fighter and risk losing legitimately to a fighter you despise

    OR

#2 Box his ass off, ruin what is left of your opponent's career, and do it round after round frustrating and demoralizing your opponent all while punishing him at the same time.

VD tell me, if you had the choice to beat your most hated rival would you want 4 rounds to hammer them into submission or 12 rounds of punishment to destroy their will and have them question their very participation in the sport.....I mean either way your opponent is going to feel demoralized
