The logic isn't the same. Marquez suffered his injury in the 3rd round. Yet he still fought through it. He gave it his all and had Lopez out on his feet. Fight would of been over if not for Weeks saving him. When it got to the point where he could barely lift his shoulder and was pretty much a one armed fighter, Zaragosa not Marquez stopped it. Cotto suffered no injury. He was just getting his ass beat and couldn't take it. Before his corner came in Cotto had already decided he was gonna take a knee and quit. Don't tell me you're to stupid to see the difference. Cuz there's a huge one. You want another example of a quit job look no further than Ivan Calderon.
