Froch vs. Ward - Saturday fight/chat thread

All of the sudden we have Dana white in reading glasses on Showtime

i thought the fight was quite entertaining, Ward landed some nice shots, bullied Froch on the inside n held the centre of the ring well. Considering Froch was suppose to be one of the best in the division he got absolutely taken to school. Ward has to be up there P4P hopefully he fights Bute next then move up n get it on with Hopkins.

I agree with Armin, Froch just doesn't allow himself to really lay it all on the line. He waits an awful lot in fights and I was worried before the start that he would start slow and yet again he did just that. He was trying to outjab Ward and I think a round of doing that should have made him realise that he would need to fight a different kind of fight. He started doing that a little when he realised there were just 2 rounds to go and was finally walking through Ward, but too little too late. Just a bit frustrating to watch really as you sense Ward doesn't have good stamina. He tired against Bika and the same happened here.

Still, you have two men in the ring and a pre agreed 12 rounds. Ward, got it right. Froch didn't.
