Well if he's guilty then he deserves what the justice system hands out to him. He pleaded guilty, therefor take whats coming and deal with it.
The way I see it he was offered by the judge a jail sentance or a fight with Manny and he opted the former.

The system is twisted and corrupted for sure. Still, 3 months for beating up a woman and a security guard is quite low if you ask me.
