I'm not sure, I guess if you have stuff to do it's better than doing it on Saturday. Still, I think it sucks "you can work or have the day off, but if you don't come in we aren't paying you". What kind of weird arsed choice is that?
They have done the same thing the past two years, I've chosen to come in both years, and bearing in mind the last two years it's been xmas eve! last year we got away at 12:30, the year before 12, so when they say we will be here till 5pm i do doubt it, but ya never know with this place !
Take the dosh, hope you get out early, if you don't, then do xmas shopping on Sat
Luckily I do know what Im buying people, so it's just a case of visiting the relevant shops, should only take a few hours. The lure of not having to come in tomorrow just seems to much, but then again a days pay is enough to see me through a good few drinking sessions over the xmas period !
