'Such is life' was reported to be Ned Kellys last words as they hung him.
I once walked from his cell and stood on the gallows exactly where he did. Very moving moment, I actually felt his last feelings, went home and wrote a type of poem about it.

I read this last year:
"In August 2011, anthropologists announced that a skeleton found in a mass grave in Pentridge Prison had been confirmed as Ned Kelly's. Kelly's skull, however, remains at large."

Yeah mate,I know the families of the police who he shot and killed wont like it but my bet is unless they make it a secret it will be like a state funeral.
If it wasnt for one man sneaking out of the pub the gang had adopted next to the railway lines they had fucked up so that the train would derail and telegraphing Neds intentions. Chances are he would of removed all the police on the train that came to hunt him down in one swoop.Withtheir armour the plan ws to fiish them all off as they scrambeled out of the train. (that would of been an interesting change in our states history).
Alot of his troubles came from one local copper who fancied his sister and they ran him off their property. But he was for all purposes a cop murdering cattle rustler. From all accounts he only shot at those who shot at or hunted him though.
Have you read his famous letter to the authorities? Its the funniest thing very scathing of them calling them every name under the sun.
Funny thing the other year I was driving through Glenrowan with my daughter showing her all the famous spots and we drove out past the new police station I yelled out the window
"You bastards you killed Kelly"!. (shes a South park fan so she got it.)

Ned Kelly’s head was allegedly used as a paperweight by the police!
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
One used by many drunken morons "Hey y'all look what I can do!"
When Albert Einstein died, his final words died with him. The nurse at his side didn't understand German.

That is true, there as a cell down in Port Arther in Tasmania where too many paying visitors were found cowering on the floor of the cell in tears. Its still closed to the public all the are others open.Poor dude died of depression in there. They used to do surgery on them too,you should see that part, its a cellar with a metal table and hole with a concrete open drain under it.
Same here in a town near by here they have had to close up one room of an old peoples home and allow no one to rent it for similar reasons, staff go no where near the thing,it cost em too much $ and time moving people in and out so they gave up.
Here are a few for you
