I'll go with Waltzing Matilda anytime...
Long before internet days, I used to tinker with my shortwave or worldband radio to connect with the world from our jungle here. When I heard Waltzing Matilda and a shriek of some Australian bird, a toucan?, I knew I was in Australia... ...missing the simple, ol' days...
Once in awhile, get outside in fresh air, take a deep breath & with a deep sigh, let out all the things that's bottled up inside you & be free, & you'll get a glimpse of nirvana.

More than likely the bird was a cockatoo and Waltzing Matilda is about a sheep thief. They love their sheep here.

Ahh, I see. I couldn't distinguish types of bird by their chirps or tweets but I can recongnize sheep's bleatings anytime, mate. But noo, I don't make love to them.

For sure, even that would be better than Advance Australia fair, Its such a droning song you can even sing it in one tone (boredom tone).

We dont have toucans here mate, probably a whip bird (not sure of the real name) or a bell bird. Both have great sounds.

Ahh here you go the big four noises out here :-)

Thanks mate. You've got a pretty large wildlife out there downunder. I wonder if the ol' penguin platipus made any call.
