We only have to compare, with what Burn's did against Kats,he did out box
and he did win the fight.Mitchell got ko and lost the fight.?
So Burn's the winner, Mitchell lost no matter how much you like him he lost.?
With us lot talking about this fight, it may just happen so then and only then
we see which fighter come's out the winner.?

Well thera ya go then, thanks for proving my point. The fact is, Katsidis had more in the tank and was alot fresher when he faced Mitchell which is a huge factor when comparing performances. And besides, performances against common opponents dont really mean anything anyways when comparing a matchup with the two.. different style and cirumstances.

People may downplay Prescott now but he was once regarded as a dangerous fighter and still is a good fighter who's done enough to beat McCloskey in many people's eyes and dude almost beat Alvarado until he faded very late. Kevin gave him an absolute Boxing lesson , beat him much worse than Miguel Vazquez did prior..

Dont put too much into that Prescott video bruh cuz Im not basing my opinion on that or anything. That was just one example of what Kev is capable of and i just felt like putting it up..

Seems like people doesn't give him enough credit for the Murray fight but he answered alot of questions in that fight and shut many people up. I think i was probably the only guy who picked him on the saddoleague.. uh hmmm...

Well anyway there's not a particular kev fight i wanna point out but any trained eye would realize that he has special talents.. He just has to get his mind right to utilize his tools cuz he has many of them.

I can't help but to chuckle when I see Burns being regarded as someone who's on par with Mitchell or better.. lol They are not at all..

Burns has a sloppy offense and his defense are full of holes. He's not well rounded nor as dynamic as Kevin Mitchell and I bet any one of you here that he's going down when the fight happens..

I think it was Beans who described Burns as something along the lines of " highly skilled and elusive " but those type of fighters dont get hit and knocked down by a slow, lead-right hand in the first round.. I hope we can all agree that Rocky Martinez is a limited B level fighter at best ..

    First round lol

Ricky Burns is easy $ for Kev..

This aint no amateur hour, Pug.. We dont say stuff like that..

I try to respect others' opinion but you are totally wrong about that...

That's like saying Zab is mentally tougher than Bradley..
    No it's not Dinamita.

I think Burns is the better boxer while Mitchell is the better well round fighter.

Against a common opponent in Katsidis, Burns was able to use his boxing ability to outbox Katsidis for a decision win while Mitchell tried to use his boxing ability yet was stopped in three rounds.

That has to been taken in account when comparing the two fighters.

I like Mitchell alot myself and i think a fight with Burns woud be a good one but to make out Mitchell is on another level is silly.
If you claim that Burns has a better chin and is more durable, Id would agree.. But to say that he's the superior technican is 100% wrong.. He's not the better boxer and you can ask any trainer out there or anyone who boxes, they'll tell you the same.

WE can't use Katsidis as a measuring tool cuz the difference is, Mitchell fought a prime Katsidis while Burns fought a war torn version of him.. and on top of that, Mitchell was inexperienced at the time and he didnt train properly due to outside issues..

Ricky Burns may have played the role of a boxer against a one dimensional Katsidis but against Mitchell, he would have to be the aggressor cuz you dont box with the superior boxer and his camp knows this... If they are realistic about things, they SHOULD know that they have to take the fight to Mitchell without attempting to outbox the superior technician.

Ricky Burns just doesn't have the punching power to put Kevin off his tracks.. That's the main thing for me.. He's not a good pressure fighter and at the same time, he doesn't have real punching either so a fighter like him will not give Kevin much to think about.

I watched both guys again last night and ohhh mannnn, lol, Ricky Burns is TAILOR MADE for Kev.. tailor made.

Ill tell you guys right now. If this fight comes off this year, I want you dudes to put your money where you mouth is.
Your entitled to your opinion bro.

Hopefully a fight between them goes down this year and we can see who the better fighter is.

Does an ordinary joe like burns stand a chance against Kev?

12 to 18 months ago I'd agree and pretty much give Burns no chance, but now I think Burns has proven himself at a better level than Mitchell and I fully expect him to come away with the W in what I think will be a great fight. Why is Mitchell fighting Ormond first though??

Based on what.. Because he barely beat a faded Katsidis??

MItchell has made a huge progress as well with an upset victory over Murray in a fight where the majority counted him out. A win over Murray is alot more significant than a Win over Katsidis at this stage..

Ormond is just a tuneup for bigger and better things but guess what? He just pulled out of the fight.. Could it be out of fear of the supernatural? possibly..

Update on SuperKev... Kev got the greenlight on Burns and plans to knockout Rios..
