Good. Getting the shit kicked out of them would unlikely do anything for these kids except make them angrier and more violent when they came across someone weaker.
Police involvement however will make them think twice before attempting the same hijinks.

How is Burns getting criticised here? Fighting a gang of youths is like being the bear baited by a pack of dogs. If you start to chase one of them, the rest will pelt you from another angle with stones bottles etc. He's at less of a risk running away and having stuff thrown rather than trying to get involved and grab one or two of them.

Burns made a wise choice but I just thought it was kinda odd cuz Ive rarely heard about fighters calling the police for help.. These boxers are proud men and more times than not, we read about them getting into fights instead of dialing 911..

Everything that comes out that idiots mouth is shit!
He did the right thing. Getting into a fight with some twats on the streets could have got him jail time. At best a fine! Not to mention the bad press. 'World champion boxer assults youths' He could have messed up his hands that would be great for his career! Or maybe one might have pulled a knife on him and killed him! Seriously pride doesn't come into it, he would have to be as stupid as ElDickBreath to jeopardize his career by fighting some youths.
In a perfect world he would have beaten the shit out of those twats and they get some jail time...alas that is not the case!
