its a good move by khan in a lot of ways because if something isnt done about it then whats gonna happen at every major fight from now on? they need a very very good explanation
Do you know what, I agree. I actually applaud Khan for going detective and making this public knowledge. Weird things go on in boxing too often and if something is dodgy, it needs to be stopped.

I don't like his moaning in general, but I'm happy to look at evidence he has to support any corruption claims.

As a boxing fan and armchair expert I think he should have done far better in the fight, a fight he really should have won easily. But taking out all emotion from who I like and don't like, something seems very wrong here.

What I don't get though, if you were going to fix a fight like that which was clearly a close fight, the odds on a draw are always massive, if I was fiddling a fight, I'd have fiddled it to be a draw at 50/1!

But the dodgy man in a hat, plus the altered card, then the missing card, then the time taken to get the result out all screams a fiddle to me.
I pretty much agree with this.

Me too.. anyone who thinks this doesn't stink of foul play is a fool.
Something very dodgy went on and the rules state that what happened shouldn't have and the guy is clearly either handling the score cards or passing something on paper to one of the judges from round 6 onwards.
Any true fight fan would definately want to know exactly what this guy was up to. Weird that this all happened the row directly in front of Oscar De la Hoya and yet he said nothing during those rounds
All a bit weird and im curious too see the outcome of the investigation.
Khan could well force a rematch from all of this and one i think he'd win with ease. All he has to do is use the ring and box Petersons head off and not get drawn into a scrap and he'll piss it for sure.

Kudos to Khan for getting this out their via the web really as it's brought it all out into the open and forced the hierarchy to react and look into it (something which was ignored until he tweeted it).
So after all the finger pointing and accusations, the mystery mans identity has finally been revealed. . . . . . . . . . .

He said he was an official, but he wasn't actually supposed to be there even if he was. If he was supposed to be there, why didn't he have his own seat and kept pinching everyone else's.

I've watched all the vids and there are clearly momments where he is talking to the judges and pointing at their cards, especially the guy on the right who then proceeds to change stuff when instructed.

What I also noticed was that the judges spent a lot of time not actualy watching the fight, they seemed bored at times!

Peterson pressed the action and made some good power shots to the body.
Lets not forgot the constant pushing from khan.
Its a good thing this happened because khan needs to stay at this weight and prove he is the best..peterson then bradley.

Peterson could have won the fight twelve nil, it makes no difference now

Some guy was messing with the judges, and the dodge card and the time taken to compile the scores all add up to no good

    There is no alternative

i joined this forum to have a bit of chat with people that know boxing. im sorely dissapointed. the people going on about the guy at ringside, did you watch the fight? did you score it a khan win? or are you fucking blind? put the crayons away! judge the fight on the actual fight. i dont care if the monopoly guy handed all the judges a million bucks and a shot of his sister. khan lost the fight, the moon landings were real and bush never blew up the twin towers

At first i thought Khan was being a cry baby but once i took all things into account, something is fishy about that IBF official being ringside when he wasn't supposed to, talking with the judges and handing them a note and even celebrating with Peterson and his team after the win.

I'm not saying he's guilty but it is odd.

I think plenty of people had Khan winning to be honest. Close fight inside the ring.

I watched the fight twice now and i had Khan winning both times.

Close fight, don't make out it was clear for Peterson.

I'm not getting caught up on anything. I'm just being unbiased and trying to see it from Khan's point of view.

Whether that IBF official had an impact on the fight or not i don't know but him being ringside when he wasn't supposed, talking to the judges, etc can't just go ignored because you don't like Khan.

even with the 2 point deduction.

How is it any more fishy than ole fish eye warren being ringside?

    Yep, even with the deductions.

I had a even fight once it made it past 8 rounds then i thought Khan finished stronger down the stretch.

The ref made some stupid calls.

One deduction was enough for Khan and the Peterson knockdown was clearly a shove.
