Unfortunately Manny does not need Floyd, he can make a load of money fighting Arum/Top Rank stable of fighters which is the real problem. They will only think about fighting one another once they know they have milked the fans enough, which is when either one of them starts to show that they could lose and start to show signs of sliding. This means the fighters will not be fighting in their primes.

Floyd needs Pacquiao more. He has always been seen as hand picking opponents. Pacquiao has won titles in 8 different divisions constantly moving up in weight taking on bigger opponents every time. He has beat more ATGs then Floyd has. For Floyd to surpass Pacquiao's legacy he would have to beat Pacquiao.
