You should just buy a pair of sparring gloves...forget about the bag gloves... your sparring gloves can do both sparring and heavy bag punching... I have a friend that bought some rival gloves recently and there great gloves very similar to photo you have posted... but if you have the money to spend, I would buy a high quality pair of real leather Everlast Gloves, I used my buddies Everlast gloves and it feels nice and solid and wicked wrist support. But what ever gloves you buy, make sure the stiching is nice and tight, the glove is real leather, proper OZ you desire, and make sure the thumb feels comfortable when you try it on and I think every glove these days has the "thumb lockdown" feature now.
