Put me in that same boat - When I heard the uproar about the result, I fully expected to see Chisora annihilate Helenius when I caught the replay. I didn't see that to be honest. Helenius was certainly in there.

I don't see why he couldn't do good after a comeback - he has a chance against anybody below the Klit brothers if he can recover from his injuries.

Fighting with injury is a bitch. Just look at the difference in Floyd vs Castillo 1 vs Castillo 2 - Fight 1 with a torn rotator cuff, fight 2 completely healthy, different fight.

I know people use injury as an excuse for bad performances but fact is injuries do occur before or within fights. It's unlucky but should be taken into consideration when assessing a performance. I think he does better against Chisora in a rematch.
Helenius was expected to KO Chisora and the man was lucky if he won 2 rounds against him.

I'd say that is pretty bad.

    Chisora absolutely dominated the action.

But, he did not hurt the giant viking. That lop dick has a good chin I'll give him that.
I thought a lot of rounds were close..Not to say I ever thought Helenius won. But the way it sounded was though Chisora beat him black and blue. That didn't happen.

Yeah that hair needs to come off..he looks like a bad horror movie villain! I watched an old fight of his vs Lamon Brewster and he had no hair. A much better look for him.
Also agree Tam, I said in another thread that nobody matches up physically with the Klitschko's and that's half the reason they are so dominant. Helenius, although not as physically imposing could give them trouble. I will always see Wlad as the weaker brother because of that chin so thats the fight i'd like to see. Helenius still the big underdog in either fight though.

I reckon every time Chisora landed something meaningful Henelius fired right back. I didn't see it as a complete domination. I think Chisora won but he didn't completely dominate, I see a complete domination as 12 rounds to 0 and maybe a couple of knockdowns in there.

You also have to factor Helenius was the home fighter and any close rounds which there were a lot Helenius would have got the nod, that's just boxing as we know. But I don't think Chisora did win the fight though, he deserves a rematch in the future and if Helenius was as baldly injured as he says he was and that's looking likely with the six months lay out I'd pick him to win against Chisora.

Helenius - wlad would be a good fight IMO.
