I literally put the fight on right as it ended. Seems like it went as expected.

Yup, Rico never was in it, he got knocked down in the 1st round, and looked like he was in awe of Rigondeaux the whole fight before it got stopped.

Best fight of the night was the 2nd one on the card.. Diaz vs. Robb, Ramos vs Rigondeaux isn't worth watching.

Ok, had a great time at the fights tonight. I'll save the best part for last.

First, I wish I would have sneaked my regular camera in, because my cell phone camera sucks ass! I could have gotten so many good shots, because I had perfect view of the ring, and the could see everyone I would have liked to have gotten a pic of.

Had a great seat, about 25' away from the ring. Sat next to these 2 girls that are friends with Mike Ruiz. They were a lot of fun. They were a wreck when Mike lost though. After his fight & getting cleaned up, Mike and his trainer sat in front of us, and the girls introduced me. They were really nice, but he was obviously upset.

The untelevised fights were very entertaining, especially between these 2 heavyweights that both basically had just turned pro.

The Julia Diaz Jr fight was sure entertaining, a hell of a lot more than the main event.

I don't know what the hell was up with Ramos, it was like he didn't want to fight, and I'll have to watch it when I get home, but it didn't look like he got hit with anything solid when the fight ended with the knockout.

Oh, before any of the fights started, Joe Cortez was right near me, so I went up to him and asked him how he feels about the majority of boxing fans considering him to be one of the worst refs. The look of shock was priceless. Needless to say he didn't answer, and turned and walked away.

And now my favorite part of the night, and something that was priceless to me. Not sure if they showed in on tv, but that piece of shit Floyd was there, he was sitting in this little closed off area with all his cronies. I was about 20 ft away, and in perfect view of him. Well he looked my way, and I flipped him the bird, and yelled to him that I hope he enjoys his jail time. All he did was the get the fuck out of here hand swoosh.

First there was a Steve Farhood microphone problem, fair enough.

Then they went to Chuck Giampa, their guest expert, who said "and tonight I'll be taking you inside the head of a judge...tonight I'll be taking you inside of the head of a judge....muttering...yeah, shit."
The best thing is that when they showed this on a 3-hour delay on the west coast, they didn't cut it -- at all (despite the show going over the allotted 2 hours).

Not sure if they showed in on tv, but that piece of shit Floyd Mayweather Jr was there, he was sitting in this little closed off area with all his cronies. Thanks for sharing Diane.

Ruiz was game and showed a lot of heart, but Villanueva was bigger and too much for him to handle, the stoppage was good because Ruiz had no chance of winning.

Diaz vs. Robb was easily the fight of the night, I did think that it was stopped a tad early, I felt bad for Robb who fought his heart out.

Ramos vs. Rigondeaux was a stinker, Ramos looked petrified and in awe of Rigondeaux, and was never really in the fight. I hope Donaire vs. Rigondeaux gets put together in the near future, it would make for a hell of a fight.

As for Cortez & Mayweather Jr., thats funny as hell Diane, Cortez is a legend in his own mind and Mayweather deserves all the abuse he can get. I guess I never realized how feisty you are, (making a note to never piss off Diane) I would have loved to have seen the look on Floyd's face. lmfao

    cheers

Make a note, never make a sig bet with me either. If Pride of Boston was around, he could attest to that.

My voice is still shot from all my yelling last night.

Floyd was being an ass last night, no big surprise. He and his cronies were just tearing Ramos apart during the fight. I know Ramos fought like crap, but he didn't deserve the treatment he was getting from them.

I just wish there was someone around who could kick Floyd's ass. I'd love to see him end his career with a loss or 2.

Rigondeaux did as expected. I wonder if Donaire will dodge him at 122? I understand the fight with Nishioka, but make no ifs, ands or buts about it, Rigondeaux versus Donaire is the fight at 122.

Its a shame Rico Ramos didn't even show up for the fight. He seemed like a nice guy, but he put up no opposition to the Cuban.

    Terribly boring fight.

Good call on that Robb vs. Diaz fight, it was a thriller !

Props to Robb for fighting his ass off in there against the kid.
