To Gray Lion, first off, all protein powder have L Glutimine in them(your right), but ask any nutritionist, there isn't enough of it added to the protein powder...if they did add the propper amount the cost on every protein powder would be TOO much!!!very expensive ingredient!!! I hope that clears it up for you!!! and yes your body produces Glutamine naturally but it doesn't produce enough if you work out 5 days a week like me!!! maybe GrayLion with your light workouts your muscle don't benifit from extra glutamine it your diet...it helps everyone else's muscles against fatigue and cramping and helps with prevent muscle tissue breakdown and increases muscle recovery time which for most boxers and athletes is IMPORTANT GrayLion!!! And to educate you on the other two supplement I mention... Flax seed oil helps your joints!!! also it gives your whole skin a nice warm glow... now GrayLion, I punch the heavy bag to try to devolpe strong knockout power, but in doing so over the years my shoulder are very sore now and I benifit from adding a spoon of flaxseed oil to my protein shake and when I'm at the beach I like my skin looking nice and shiney with a warm glow look!!!...and the other suppliment I mention was Arginine... you see, my diet consist of mostly chicken and rice and veggies, I lack beef(steak) in my diet...beef (steak) have arginine in it, so I take a suppliment instead...if your not aware arginine is a proven ingredient to build muscle, it's part of the branch chain animo acid the builds muscle and arginine is also and ingredient in every protein powder...its very safe to take... and as for as your advice you mention...yeah take the glutamine before and after your workout (definetly)take it with water for better absorption... but SKIP the creatine unless you want to have a bloated feeling and want a bubble looking physique.... also taking a protein shake before bedtime is perfect, low carb, high quality protein powder, and if you buy the timed released protein powder you can have your body fed all night long while you sleep... and your body is healing and recovering when your sleeping...it's important for your body to have the food for the recovery. I hope my info helps you :-) Cruiser
