Genaro Henandez had never been beaten at 130 & was rated #1 when Floyd fought him
Manfredy (while not great) was on a 23 out of 24 streak with 1 fight being a nc
    Corrales was undefeated, rated #1 at 130 & #5 p4p
Castillo was Ring champ at 135 & #1 in the rematch
Hatton (although maybe past his best) was Ring champ & undefeated

That's leaving out many guys that were also rated when Floyd fought them but may not have been in their prime...

Not until he is tested. With his style it is hard to tell

Do you consider him being tested at 130 & 135? Or you just look at certain fights? I think he has already started to slip, but his fundermental are so good that it hasn't really been a problem yet... sort of along the lines of Hopkins, very well schooled, great technique

I think he is slightly past his best but he has ajusted his style slighty as he has got older. Eg Doesnt throw many combos uses the left then straight right alot more. Where when he was younger at 130 and 135 he used alot of combinations.

DLH, Mosley and Trinidad from 1999 all give Mayweather big trouble.

Prime Chavez loses to Mayweather, prime Whitaker would be a chess match, prime KT has a chance (cuts the ring off better than most), but probably loses a decision.

Could Mayweather beat prime Duran at Lightweight or prime Hearns at Welterweight? Despite my admiration for Mayweather's defensive skills, i doubt it.

Its funny how guys are the greatest floyd slayers ever before the fight.......then after we get threads like these. Floyd fights oscar at a normal weight nothing. Pac fights him dripping blood from i.v. holes and the heavens open. Floyd fights hatton nothing. Pac drains and fights him and jimmy kimmel throws down confetti, so on and so forth. Floyd could fight wlad and vitali tonight win and people will still say he ducked fighter blah blah blah. Same will be for pac, im suprised there already isn't an app for excuses and reasons to discredit the guy already. Floyd is a good fighter pac is a good fighter, among others bottom line. Fans dont need to shit on another fighter to try and make your favorite look better. If floyd sucks, ducks, fights old fighters then someone beat him, not make up excuses why they can't or didn't. If any of the fighters floyd has fought beat him you wouldn't hear any of this past thier prime garbage. You'd just instantly make him a hero. Best case is that both these guys loose and we move on with the sport. Every other word out of boxing's mouth in general has something to do with floyd.........but yea he's garbage that makes sense. Next the nba will start to market the bucks, cause they suck too. Smh

They moved around and away from Pacquiao's left and pac being the fighter he is didn't know how to deal with it, making him look not as special as when guy walk to him. I believe the cramps are just an excuse if not then Ariza isn't doing a good job. I don't mean any disrespect to pac but people sometimes have to understand that their favourite fighter isn't perfect and is mortal.
He just doesnt look as nippy any more. Look at him about 4 or 5 fights ago. He was always jumping in and out with his punches. Like a munchkin on a sugar high. So much faster and more agile. Now he looks like he is only in the ring because he has to be there.

Trinidad never ever gives Floyd trouble, sorry. Oscar and Mosley would all be great fights if all were at lightweight at the same time. That's where Floyd was best.

I think he beats Duran..Hearns it is damn hard to see Floyd getting inside of that reach. Leonard vs Floyd would be a more even fight IMO. The one thing Floyd has over all of these fighters is patience and ring smarts.

Why not sing praise to pacs opponents? Mosely was past it and seemed happy to touch gloves more than fight but was still dangerous.
Marquez done a great job on keeping pac at bay and arguably won.
Pac is a great fighter but we cant say pac is past it because he couldnt dominate these guys.

I agree that past it is probably too stong a word. He is still there at the top but not as impressive as a few years ago is probably the best way to word it. He had the joke of a fight with Clottey, where Clottey just guarded throughout the fight. He then looked way too slow against Margarito. An unimpressive performance against Mosley and then in my opinion, lost to Marquez.
Im deffinately putting my money on Mayweather if this fight ever happens.
