It's not worth either of them risking that sort of thing for a British title, when both of them could potentially fight for a Euro or world level belt later down the line. As much as I'd love to see it now, I think it would be best if they met later on.
I suppose I have to agree, in the interests of both fighters. They may as well chase a Euro or Alphabetworld title independently in the hope that they both get a klit shot and make some real money. Sad but true.

Fury will pick his fights very carefully from now on , Price will have to chase him.
Fury is taking some stick but like Wallace just said, Maloney doesnt really want the fight.

Would Maloney put Price in with any of Furys last few opponents?

Would Maloney have put Price in with McDermott after only 9 months as a pro? Does knocking out an inactive McDermott mean much? He was fat and is now a journeyman. When he fought Fury he was active, a few years younger and about 20lb lighter!
Is this the same Fury who keeps telling us he could beat the brother grim right now ?
Fury will fail very soon , he doesnt hit hard at top level and is easy to hit , his chin is also questionable at the top.
It will be interesting to see who his next few fights are.

I do wonder if Audley Harrison or God forbid David Haye will aim to grab these pathetic "titles"....I don't rate Fury much, but at the same time I wouldn't put it past him beating Price.

2012, THIS, is Audley Harrison's year!

He'll be going for the titles, there's nothing left for him other than retirement. He'll find a way to get himself in the frame.

Its Price v Sexton for the vacated titles. Its a decent fight.

If Audley comes through Ali Adams, I wouldnt be surprised if he gets a shot for Prices/Sextons first defence

A fully fit and motivated Fury could beat Price, he needs to develop his skills and experience with a top trainer and he can then become a world champion after the brothers have retired.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

See, now this is where people need to step back and look at this with some perspective. Knocking out McDermott means nothing...

Price is being lined up to fight Sexton. If Fury ws being lined up to fight Sexton wouldnt this be seen as a step down from beating Chisora and knocking out an unbeaten, unknown imported fighter with a high knockout record? Yet its Fury whos seen as the one running here.

Why doesnt Price pick the pace up and get an unknown, unbeaten banger over rather than face the likes of McDermott this late in to his career and now anoth journeyman in Sexton?

Probably, because he wants to fight for a title.

Was that in reply to "If Fury ws being lined up to fight Sexton wouldnt this be seen as a step down from beating Chisora"?

If so, your right. Also, price had an offer but chose to just make some publicity for himself then go fight an a British journeyman instead of any threat.

Fury cant punch at top level , is easy to hit , and will fail very soon , these are all facts.
He had a record of 15 wins 10 KO's that is at a low level.
He cant punch full stop , he will hit top fighters and they will laugh. Fury is a media product going no where near a world title win .

    FACT !!!

Fury has proved he can fight back from a big punch. Price is supposedly no better in the chin department and is suspiciously slow at getting round to fighting any threats like Fury has.

    FACT !!!
Right again< Hennessy trying to do a Warren with a limited fighter. Good luck to them in some respects, why should warren make all the money out of over hyping his fighters through his dodgy media contacts? If Hennessy can get the media shit then good luck to the lad, but he aint going to be beating anybody with serious skills any time soon.
