To flip the script a little bit..Does Hatton beat Ortiz? I say no. Ortiz's speed and power would have had Hatton out of there imo

How is that flipping the script, that is just the same old predictable, "let's all have a go a great British fighter who did more for British Boxing in his career than most, now that he has no way of proving me wrong". Ortiz? Tailor made for Ricky. Hatton's footwork alone would tie him in knots. Hatton had a ton of heart and was more than capable of stopping far greater fighters than Ortiz.

So somebody can ask if Maidana beats Tsyu but I "flip the script" and ask if Hatton beats Ortiz and am an automatic "brit hater"? I don't think he would need heart against Hatton. I honestly believe that fight would have been over within a couple of rounds. The combination of Hatton rushing in, him being a sucker for straight lefts, and Ortiz' size and power would make it a short night in my mind.

Ortiz destroys Hatton for me. Every fighter he's been in the ring with apart from Floyd has been knocked down at the very least..I don't think Hatton gets back to his feet. Ortiz is the kind of fighter you can't block punches with your face against and Hatton enjoyed doing that.

Hattons a great fighter but like somebody mentioned, he'd have kept away from Ortiz if their careers ran parralel - All wrong for him

I meant I fell asleep at number 1 on your list..not 1am. For someone who is trying to throw insults at people that make it seem like you're more intelligent than them, you're struggling a little aren't you?

Back to boxing, I still think Maidana takes him. Styles make fights and nobody brought it to Ricky like Maidana would. He doesnt leave you alone. It's not a foregone conclusion, in my mind I just see Maidana grinding him down. That's my story n I'm sticking to it.
