Where is the North/South divide?

We Texans are entirely too egotistical to be considered part of anything besides begrudingly the USA. As far as we are concerned the rest of the country can piss off.

The "Lone Star" in Texas' state flag came from 'The Bonnie Blue' (the flag seen beside my name) which was a flag adopted by 'State's Rights' movements which eventually snowballed into the Confederacy of which Texas was a part.

The Confederate States are considered "Southern" and oddly enough they would have had a political system not unlike the European Union.
