The whole thing is ridiculous. I used to have a lot of time for Haye. I thought the way he stuck to his gameplan to take the title from Valuev was pretty impressive and I thought Booth was a great tactician. But I never thought he deserved his shot against Wlad anyway on the strength of victories over Monte Barrett, Valuev and a faded Ruiz. His campaign to get a shot against the Klitschkos was garbage and his showing against Wlad was almost as laughable as his 'poorly toe' excuse. He's a talented fighter with a lot of ability but he just wanted a fast track to a heavyweight title before he retired. He did that, so he should retire and keep his mouth shut. Or he should come out of retirement and fight lower tier fighters until he's built a record worthy of another title shot. Either way, waiting around and goading the Klitschkos into another fight is bollocks. What has he done to deserve a rematch with either of them? He was made to look rubbish by Wlad and there's no reason to think he would fare any better against Vitali.
Chisora is no better. He shouldn't have been fighting Klitschko either based on his record, and the fact that he did pretty well doesn't ratify the decision to give him the shot. He still lost by 8 rounds and the fact that he did well has more to do with the fact that Klitschko was pretty poor himself. The VitKlit that steadily and methodically demolished Danny Williams would have made short work of Chisora, especially with the huge lunges that Chisora was throwing. If Klitschko's timing had been where it has been previously just one of those would have been enough to see Chisora on his arse. And Chisora's slapping, spitting, and pre and post-fight lack of respect and humility were disgraceful.
As for the brawl, they're as bad as each other. Chisora walks 20 feet and takes his jacket off on the way there, so there's no way he wasn't preparing himself for some kind of physical confrontation, Haye definitely throws the first two punches, even if it is provoked by Chisora shoving his microphone-clutching fist into his face. I couldn't believe it when the tripod starts swinging around, I mean Jesus these are supposed to be professional sportsmen. Haye then legs it and isn't seen again, whereas at least nutjob Chisora calms down to the point where he wipes the blood off Adam Booth's head with a towel. Absolutely ridiculous. Haye should face criminal charges for his part in it, whereas you could argue (maybe) that Chisora doesn't really do anything illegal, but only because he can't seem to get to Haye. He should still be pulled up by the BBBofC for spitting in Wlad's face, his part in the brawl and his general conduct.

Bottom line is that I daresay this will provide a lot of hype for a fight between Haye and Chisora, which I don't think will ever happen because Haye won't come out of 'retirement' for anyone who's surname isn't Klitschko. I don't think it'll help Chisora get another fight with the Klitschkos either, since I daresay they're thinking this whole episode has been more trouble than it's worth.

Great post kinda sums it up totally... I think the only thing I would disagree with is Chisora threatening to shoot him could possibly be illegal.

If he didn't make them threats he might have come out of all this without being blamed for anything apart from being dumb and intimidating
