Southern Florida is also "different" .......though I don't much care for Northern Florida either. And the "Southern States" extend all the way to Texas where at some point that becomes the "Southwest" which is a whole 'nother bag of marbles.
What?! No sweet tea......what part of Virginia didn't serve sweet tea? On another note VA is so diverse that Northerners I know have taken to jokingly calling it the Middle East.
