It would be a decent fight...better than fighting Mormeck IMO. Let's be honest there's no one that has a better skillset in the division than Wladimir, so it's difficult to really make a match vs him that will actually be competitive. Arreola can at least take a solid shot and keep pressing forward, and the guy does have good power....he wouldn't be a favorite by any stretch of the immagination, but he could compete a bit.

Who else is there for Wlad to fight? Who wants to fight Wlad? Povetkin has been in line for like 5 years and simply won't fight Wladimir and nobody else has been able to consistently win to earn the shot. That said, I don't condone the Mormeck fight, I think it's a crap match, but if Wlad couldn't find anyone else to fight, then good one Mormeck for stepping up at least, I guess.

Whilst Mormeck is one of the better names on Hayes record, it was at cruiserweight, on his home patch, Don King production where Haye probably had to knock out him to get the win.

The only decent fight at HW right is Klitschko vs Klitschko. Yeah I know it wil 'never' happen but it's still the only fight at heavyweight I can get excited about.

Any other sport they would have to take each other on so I don't see why it should be any different just because it's boxing. Except for the obvious fact that most other sports have a single governing body and generally the best HAVE to compete against the best. Can you see Venus and Serena Williams getting to the final of Wimbledon and then splitting the prize money and walking away.

Hell when I was boxing me and my brother couldn't wait to spar each other at the gym because we were well matched and competitive and knew it would be a decent scrap. I don't really understand how you can have that competitive streak that drives you as a professional sportsman but not want to take on the best opponent out there, even if it is your brother. Wlad must know that he's generally considered the weaker of the two, so how can he not want to address that?
