So what do y'all think, FOTY so far?
Pretty simple, Jean-Marc didn't have a clue how he was gonna fight, just waiting for Wlad to hit him with a good shot, so it didn't look like he quit. Now he gets paid...![]()
I haven't posted here in about a year - busy with work and also the Haye-Klitschko fight turned me off boxing for a while. I can't believe I watched that. I try to see Lyle's point of view about Wlad but honestly, the guy just cheats when he doesn't like what his opponent tries to do. The amount of holding, leaning and pushing in the face should be warned earlier. It's clear why he continues to fight in Germany so he can get away with that stuff. It also pisses me off when people say the Klitschko's are boring. I don't think it's fair to group a fighter like Vitali who takes chances with his brother who doesn't want to entertain. What annoys you most about Wladimir is that if he had a set of balls, he'd have finished that fight earlier because Mormeck was a punching bag.
Calling a spade a spade...cheap excuse for a payday and padding here. And I like Wlad.
I googled this after I heard them say it on sky and what haye says is that vitali has said he would fight haye next in a tv interview :S........ It's a bit far away from them agreeing contracts... Hayes salesman act is really getting annoying..
not a great fight wladimir is so cautious it is annoying for a klitschko fan like me, his holding and pushing was not great but I believe you should do whatever the ref lets you away with( I also believe every match should have a good referee), mormeck didnt help he was coming in low, it is his normal style to be fair, so I think this made it awkward for wlad... Some nice punches but even when mormeck had his guard up wladimir was hurting him.... Nice finish to the fight at least
Welcome back bzkfn. A funny fight to choose to make a return to boxing though.
What happened? What did I miss?
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Wlad TKO 4...good enough. NEXT!
Next? I dunno, some other cruiserweight, old and already knocked out by the inferior David Haye in at a lower weight.
'NEXT'jesus, what a joke of a match up.
I'm being cruel, Mormeck was much younger and greener when Haye stopped him. He clearly hadn't peaked yet.
