I dont think the tempo of how he fights is as much to do with his stamina as much as it is his dedication to the sport. He has fought higher paced fights before and been fine. Jesus Chavez and Philip Ndou immediately spring to mind as does his fight vs Augustus.
Sure he's older now but this is a guy who spars 15-20 minutes straight sometimes with fresh rotating opponents. I think the least of Floyds concerns is stamina when it comes to figuring out his gameplan.
Sparing is not the same thing as being in a fight with someone who's really trying to do damage to you.
I believe I raise a good question, sure Floyd could end up dominating Cotto, he has that kind of ability, but what if Miguel can put some hurt on him and takes him out of his usual rhythm? Who knows "Superman" could be ripe for the plucking.
P.S. Win, lose or draw, there's no way that Floyd knocks Miguel out, that just ain't gonna happen.
