exactly my thoughts lol Rios is a bitch, who should be fighting at 140 if not higher, he struggled against a guy who he was supposed to stop in 4 rounds last time out and he thinks he's the greatest slugger since Chavez, when Rios finally steps up in weight and opposition he gets owned.....badly

I remember when he was trash talking to Victor Ortiz and saying how he would beat him easily blah blah blah. Victor Responded back saying how Brandon Rios was just looking for a bigger paycheck.

This guy Abril just beat Acosta for the "interim" wba light trinket. I think their throwing his name out as a fill in. Gamboa and Rios were supposed to fight for the same vacant strap? Rios needs to just cut to the chase already and move to 140...officially. I don't see Gamboa beating him on size and his propensity to field right hands but honestly, Gamboa is the one with the true skill to build on and massive future imo. I think he's being thrown in here as a mark in a way. Guys like Rios burn out hard and fast.
