Thank you for your help, i will keep this in mind. I have another question, do you know of any good youtube videos I could view to watch exactly the technique how I could throw punches? (I'll probobly start off with the jab and the cross first) There is probably plenty of videos out there that will all tell me what I need to know, but as you just advised to be careful where I go for information I figured I should ask this too.

If I were you, I'd watch some of the great boxers in history work their craft.

I'd recommend watching how Muhammad Ali threw his jabs. It's how I modeled my jabs, and it was excellence.

Watch Muhammad Ali vs. Cleveland Williams. Nice short fight that displayed an excellent skill in jabs.

    For power you need to:

    • Develop strong, explosive legs (do plyometrics)
    • Develop a strong core for rotation
    • Work the heavy bag strategically
    • Shadowbox with dumbells
