I saw a final on Nat geo yesterday and they are out of ten runs.
They get scores of 3 for a hit ,5 if you break a lance on the other guy.
Sometimes they draw so its added up at the end and quite often its all down to the last run.

I posted this in the General Television thread. The have a competition show on The History Channel here in the states called Full Metal Jousting. I watch it every Sunday night. These guys are crazy fuckers.
