at least it does not say its PPV on showtimes web site...... :P

1. The Marquez fights are on the same card--if you're going to list them both, you need to list the Ouma fight that's on the Forest/Quartey undercard for free on HBO.

2. Those Showtime fights are all free, true, but they are also only coming at a rate of once a month (Corralles/Casamayor isn't until October). HBO will already have shown two free fights before Showtime gets around to doing the same (Toney/Peter in September). Don't let the fact that there are some PPVs thrown in there distract from the fact that HBO has had more non-PPV fights than Showtime this year, and continues to show them with more frequency.

my thing w/ hbo ppv isnt that they have them, its that they have shitty fights for 50 dlls.....aside from pac vs morales i cant think of one ppv fight on hbo that was worth 50 dlls IMO......again IMO......i have both sho and hbo and i watch every fight they put on but hbo goes overboard w/ the ppv IMO......and the constant ball sucking of the hbo fighters by the announcers is also very annoying....
I do agree with you on all of that. Lampley's performance in the Wright/Taylor fight was especially biased/overboard. But they have had a lot of good free fights this year, and I just can't get past how much better the production value is on HBO than Showtime--it really makes Showtime look public-access in comparison.
