I guess......it always weirded me out when kids would put mayo on their fries as well, but the Dutch do it all the freaking time and I must say after I tried it I wasn't all that averse to it, but ketchup on chicken or eggs....I say NO! Hot Sauce on eggs & chicken YES! Mustard on chicken YES! Salsa on chicken & eggs YES! But ketchup? I just don't get it.
In the Southeastern United States we're known to put yellow mustard or ranch dressing on damn near everything.

That's quite a weird and snobby attitude coming from the land of the hot dog. Decent quality sausages, fresh bread and ketchup, mustard,chutney,relish or whatever are a perfectly balanced combination that could tickle even the most educated palate. Brown sauce is a molasses based spicy conserve the best of which, HP ( for Houses of Parliament) compliments a sausage brilliantly.
