That's quite a weird and snobby attitude coming from the land of the hot dog. Decent quality sausages, fresh bread and ketchup, mustard,chutney,relish or whatever are a perfectly balanced combination that could tickle even the most educated palate. Brown sauce is a molasses based spicy conserve the best of which, HP ( for Houses of Parliament) compliments a sausage brilliantly.
I was going to say a similar thing. Lyle is being a little snooty.

I had a hotdog at Costco a few months back and that was disgusting. An American sausage on cheap bread with cheap sauce. Now an English sausage, in good bread with decent ketchup is decent fodder. No comparison really. Lyle has probably never tried a good quality British sausage sarnie.
