This is a kid that's always been around and he's always boxed, although he never got trained right. I haven't trained consistently in years, and this kid is good shape.
Tell me what you think.

I don't know which one you are so please forgive me if I offend.
The fat boy in black (lets stick to brass tacks) is pretty good in a rolly-polly way. I like the head wobbles, hand position and fluidity of the punches when he finally gets close enough to throw. However, his first port of call is to lose some weight. Wobbling around waiting for your opponent to come near you is not a good idea.
The slim kid is utterly useless. He clearly has the speed on the fat boy, however, he's terrified of being hit, which is highlighted by the way he pulls his head back everytime he throws a punch. In my professional opinion I strongly recommend he stops boxing (even that hillbilly stuff).
Whether you're slim or the fat kid I very much enjoyed your video, Thanks.

Slim is the fat boy.

Next time you could fight over there on the grass instead of on a road that could at worse kill any one of you if you went over by mistake on your head. It happens.
Oh I see someone suggests it eventually, smart lad. Try bare feet on the grass its not worth the feeling of watching someones head split like an egg.
Yyou lucky your mate fights going backwards more than forwards eh, you could do what you wanted to.

Master is correct, I am the lard ass.
I went to a good gym for quite some time before it closed down, and since then I've been working a lot and focusing on school. Never got back into training like I should have. Unfortunately, because of my lack of physical fitness, I decided to just walk to the guy to conserve energy, which makes shit footwork. It was part of the reason why he tired so much quicker than I did, even though he was in much better shape.
I did just start running again yesterday night. I'll be running every other night, and I'm going to be making an effort to lose some weight.
Don't like to fight with bare feet, as I require support for my bad arches in the feet. But you're right, I should be fighting on the grass. It was his preference, so I just went with it.
I'm much more comfortable with somebody else going forward, as I don't have to pressurize so much, because the pressure is already there. You just have to use footwork and jab placement to redirect their momentum and catch them easy with the counters. I love to counter punch, but after the left hook landed early on and he started seeing stars, he wasn't willing to trade and went into survival mode. I'm a fond head hunter, which is why it took a little bit for me to start pounding to the body. One of my faults when I fight is that I need to go to the body more often and earlier.
I'd much rather fight a guy that's coming forward, though. It's much easier to use the head movement to put the shoulders in place for a good blow. Some people don't understand why I move the head the way I do; it's because it puts my shoulders into position for a good shot very often and I can throw jarring shots whimsically. The shoulder is the connector of the powerline from the weight of the body to the punch, and without the placement of the shoulder and the push from the shoulder, you don't really get nice mind numbing power like you would otherwise. It works well.
Keep it up but do other non-contact exercises running, ride a bike, swimming and other sports. You will feel better for it and it will improve your boxing because you will be fitter.

Well I don't get the opportunity to find anybody to spar with because there isn't a lot of people interested in that sort of thing. I spar whenever I have a chance, though, just because I love to box.
The plan is to run every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
And then every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, I'll be hitting the heavybag, doing exercises for my hand speed, pushups, situps, etc.
And then on Sunday, I'll do nothing, because it's fun to do nothing.
Does that sound like a good training schedule to you?
Play football, soccer and tennis.
Also with the runs do sprints in between and certainly at the end of the run. You will love it.

You walk too much when you are boxing- don't cross your feet. And too often you bring them together. Can't punch then, or take a punch either.
