Prospects with talent don't mean nothing when they don't get pushed by famous promotors. Sad for the sport, good for greedy companies. 'nuff said.

Personally I think that us (as boxing fans) need to get behind the talented youngsters and try to "force the hand" of the promoters. Though TBH a lot of them do on to do things of note, especially the Mexican ones who regularly get some sort of backing from someone like Zanfer.

What you mean would be a low-budget underground-scene. All the rest is just capitalist opera.

What I mean is if the fans voted with their cash the promoters would listen. If we keep buying garbage the promoters will take us for a ride. If the wider boxing public knew about the top talents then they talk about them and if we talk enough about them the promoters will listen...hopefully anyway.
