I do love watching the heavy rain as long as I am indoors. It is beautiful and cleansing.

I loved the rain until I moved to a place where it is grey, overcast, and rainy 10 months out of the year. Fuck rain.

Haha, my hometown gets as much rain as Seattle. I understand you, but I only hate rain when its like 34 degrees outside....though you probably get that a lot too

I remember reading that for you guys it often comes all at once - I love those kind of rain storms. What I hate, and I mean really fucking hate, is 10 months of grey skies, overcast, and rain. If I didn't love my job, I would have already left this shithole. I will be leaving by next summer to go to grad school and one of the major reasons is the weather.

Of course, I'll be going to a place that regularly gets weather in the -20 or -30s, but at least it will be sunny goddamnit.

    Calgary.

I don't necessarily want to live there, but I've been accepted into graduate school and they've granted me a deferral until next Sept.

That being said, 90% of the time I feel like almost anywhere is better than here.

I love the rain. The only time I really don't like it, is when it's raining so heavy that it cuts out my satellite signal, like it just did as I'm typing this lmao. Damn I jinxed myself.

I love walking in the rain. When I was a kid, my neighbors yard would always flood to about maybe a foot of water, and when it did, we would all go over there and play football in it. We also had ditches/culverts that were about 4 ft deep, that would flood as well, and they would basically become like a waterslide. We would just lay back and go for a ride weeeeeeeeee.

And of course, always enjoy having sex in a warm gentle rain.

Working and living in a place that cold is different.

I've been caught out in the rain in both Jamaica and The Seychelles, both times everyone else ran inside like pathetic tourists and both times I was absolutely compelled to stay out and marvel at the serenity that the rain had created.

    Very spiritual moments.
