It will just have to be a long-term thing. As has been said countless times, the closest model is Hopkins. He got his adulation in his 40s. (He had his accolades before, for sure, from the Trinidad/ODLH fights, etc., but it was begrudging because of his fan-unfriendly style -- much like Ward.)You know, your right, but, as is, he'll never really earn adulation from boxing fans world wide IMO.
