The PBF scene is looking thin, i really believe Pacman is done, to many other things on his mind and his last two fights were far from being the elite performance required to beat Floyd Mayweather. Pacquiao is heading the way of Shane Mosley, competitive up to a point, but he will lose more than he wins if he continues to fight.
Throw Khan to the wolves and put him in with Mayweather, give Alvarez a shot? A Cotto rematch does not interest me in the slightest. All of a sudden a Cotto V Pacman rematch does!

I just want to see him fight, period. Anyone in his weight class. He's such a talented guy, the ideal imaginary part of my brain wants him to box 20 times a year, alas, we got them boxing politics.

To answer your question, Cotto may be in pursuit of another title so I don't think that's in the cards. It was a good fight between Cotto and Mayweather in the first run, but Cotto is the lesser boxer. Though if it were to happen I'd be glad to see it again.

TBH, piggybacking on whatever Martinez vs Chavez thread that's out there, it'll be a good fight regardless whether Chavez Jr. or Martinez wins. However, I'd love to see Chavez Jr. fight Mayweather to see what Mayweather can bring out of him.

Mayweather could probably skip training altogether, and still kickass on most of the guys in his weight. I don't like the way he fights, but he's head and shoulders above everyone else inside the ring.

The way floyd fights is amazing he is a pure boxer he uses real defense instead of standing infront of people and letting them hit u! If Ortiz would have done that against Lopez he prolly wouldn't have gotten his jaw broke lol

If Pacman and/or Arum really care about Pacman status as being the P4P best or at the top, Or even trying to get some sort of edge on Mayweather for a potential better split in a fight between the 2, it have to be Cotto or Bradley. Not JMM again. And he will have to KO either of them.

So, what weight-division then? I guess he'll be way out of shape just like Hatton, innit?

    Floyd is always in shape.
Its all mental..does he want to do it anymore? The fact he gets millions will motivate him to fight again.
I dont think he should fight at 154 as he is at a huge disavantage..hes the king of the hill stay at 147

Floyd should fight Bradley web he get out. Bradley would be a tune up for Mayweather. If not Bradley, Paulie. Paulie, just to get sharp again.

Floyd can not fight for years and he still remained sharp and fit. I hate him for being so good.

Floyd might get out early. By August 1st to mid August for good behavior. Guarantee Pacman makes a decision b4 then.

A year ago i would've said Pacman stops Cotto again, now i don't think so. I wonder exactly where Pacquiao's career is heading? Cotto V Pacman 2 should happen, but i suspect they will shield him from Cotto believing what we believe might happen?

I think its going to be Cotto 2. Several weeks ago I would have maintained it was going to be Martinez even after the Chavez Jr. fight was signed. I thought that no way Jr makes the 160 same day weigh in rule. Well, weighing a pound over the light heavyweight limit the day of the fight is not really a 160 same day weigh in rule so I’m sure Jr/Martinez is a go. Anybody who still holds out hope of Floyd/Manny happening needs to seek out counseling.
